You must go to your usual gynaecologist or to your family planning for a check-up, as soon as they have told you.

NORMAL SYMPTOMS

BLEEDING: It is normal if you do not lose any blood the following days after the operation but it is also normal if you do lose some blood. In this case you can start losing blood the same day of the operation or 3 or 4 days later. Duration : It can last at the minimum one day or the maximum 40 days. Quantity : It could be one drop or a little bit more that your normal period. Regularity : It can be constant and regular loss but it can also be sporadic and irregular ( some days more than others, some days it will happen and some days not at all). It can also be that on the 6th or 7th day the quantity of blood loss increases.

TEMPERATURE: It is normal that your temperature rises by 37,5º C or less, this will alleviate itself without having to take medicines. But it is also normal if this rise in temperature does not occur.

PAIN: It is normal period pain or perhaps a little stronger. It could be possible that this pain will occur while taking the drops (Methergin)

ATTENTION!!

BLEEDING: If you have to change your towels every 15 minutes. Call us!!

TEMPERATURE: If it is higher than 38º C of fever... Call us!!

PRECAUTIONS:

You have to take care with any kind of exterior knocks against your body ( any falls, sudden movements, stressful, sports...). You have to take care not to put anything into your vagina (no sex with penetration, internal baths - bidet, bath, swimming - and remember that you can not use tampons.

MEDICATIONS:

METHERGIN DROPS : At the minimum you must dilute 15 drops in some water every 8 hours during your first 5 days. If after these 5 days you are still losing blood, you have to carry on taking the drops until you finish the bottle. If not, you can finish taking drops the 5th day. If you have pains similar to a period while taking 15 drops, you can decrease the doses to 8 drops.

SOLUPEN: 225 mgrs or VIBRACINA 100 mgrs. The same day of the operation you have to take 2 capsules after certain meal times that we will tell you about. You will take the rest of the capsules one every 24 hours (SOLUPEN) or one every 12 hours (VIBRACINA).

NOLOTIL: Just take it if you have important pains.

MENSTRUATION :

Your first period can be delayed by one or two months (from 30 to 60 days) and it can be a little more abundant and painful than normal, do not worry about that. If in 70 days you still have not had your period, Call us!!
